Based
on the information gathered during the Observe
& Analyze phase, we proceed to convert user requirements into
storyboards using a variety of techniques. The storyboarding process begins
by creating a high level interaction model for your product. This model
provides a framework for designing the relationship between different
types of data/information and the users within a system.
After the model is realized, Limina will produce higher fidelity storyboards which incorporate object, feature and visual design.
Visual design elements create the environment in which a user operates, and elements such as iconography and data visualizations, enabling the user to navigate your product confidently while referencing complex data through effective and efficiant visual models. Limina will work with you and your users to define a sound graphic-vocabulary to help improve system learnability, ease of use and workflow efficiency.
A sound information architecture will provide an effective taxonomy and usage pattern for your product, ensuring that the users will always find what they're looking for.
Usability testing or user reviews will help maintain the focus of the application throughout the design phase and post deployment.
