Jon Fukuda, Partner/Principal
Jon has been a user experience designer for interactive solutions over the past 10 years. Jon's diverse set of skills include front end systems design & development, 2D and 3D visual design, information visualization, and interaction modeling. His experience spans methodology development, project management, product definition, design and production. Jon’s recent client portfolio includes: Applied Biosystems, Becton Dickinson & Company, Enpresence, E5 Systems, Seagate, Office.com, Citibank and more.


Mimi Knowles, BS IS, Partner/Principal
Mimi has been working in the usability and interaction design field for the past 10 years. Her experience incorporates all aspects of interface design including personas, usability testing, information architecture, user interface design, and heuristic evaluations. Mimi has worked on web and desktop applications designing a range of solutions from simple content web sites to complex desktop applications requiring sophisticated interaction modeling. She has managed several teams working toward international product releases. Some of her past clients include Intel, Vodafone, Honda, Vail Resorts, Sony Corporation, and Lucent. She received her BS degree in Information Systems from the University of Colorado, Boulder.


Maria C Taylor, Partner/Principal
Maria has worked in the user interface design field for the past 10 years. Her focus has been on creating compelling visual design solutions for complex interfaces, data visualization, branding and brand translation, iconography, graphic design, custom photography. She is also skilled in building UI design methodology and leading user experience projects. She has in-depth experience in building both web based and desktop ebusiness applications. Some of her recent clients include Applied Biosystems, Becton Dickinson & Company, JP Morgan Chase, Merrill Lynch, Nokia, Kraft, and Equilend.


Simon Gillmore, BE Elec, Director of Client Services
Simon has been leading the delivery of products and services for the past 15 years. Simon’s experience spans product management, IT consulting, project management and system integration within a diverse set of industries including BioTech, Event Marketing, Aerospace and Defense, eBusiness and Telecommunications. Some of Simon’s recent clients include Cisco, Ericsson, CSC, British Telecom and Logica. Simon has worked in the USA, Australia, and Europe. He received his Bachelor of Electrical Engineering from the University of Technology, Sydney, Australia.


Kipp Lynch, PhD, Senior Consultant
Kipp holds a doctorate in cognitive psychology, specializing in visual perception. He has worked in the human factors and user interface design field for fourteen years. Dr. Lynch has built and led cognitive design and user experience teams, performed contextual research, usability testing, and interaction design. Some of his clients include Nationwide Insurance, McKinsey & Co., Lucent, Nokia, GE Plastics, and Swets & Zeitlinger. He has also headed research and development laboratories in human computer interaction and ergonomics for several international consulting firms. Dr. Lynch is a frequent speaker at user experience conferences and publishes on the subject.


Yasser Sowb, PhD, Senior Consultant
Yasser holds a doctorate in Biomedical Engineering with specialty in Human Factors and User-interface design of medical instrumentation. He has worked in the areas of displays and user-interface design, contextual inquiry, and usability evaluation for the past 13 years. He completed a postdoctoral fellowship in Human Factors, user-interface design, and human performance assessment. He has worked as center and research laboratory manager at the Simulation Center for Crisis Management Training in Healthcare at Stanford University where he was involved in design and evaluation of medical equipment user-interfaces and clinical training and education programs. Recently, he was a Human Factors program manager at Hospira, Inc., where he was involved in user-interface design and usability evaluation of infusion pumps and supporting PC-based applications.
